Dr. Thomas Fry has practiced Hand and Upper Extremity Orthopaedic Surgery in the Denver/Boulder Metro areas since 1988 and has been active in teaching and community education in his chosen field. In 2017, Dr. Fry joined Cornerstone Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. “I am proud to join Cornerstone Orthopaedics because of their philosophy of compassionate care that is individualized to each patient’s needs, including surgery and rehabilitation when needed,” Dr. Fry said. Currently, he is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and Rocky Mountain Hand Surgery Society.
Prior to working at Cornerstone Orthopaedics and in the Denver/Boulder Metro areas, Dr. Fry was privileged to serve our troops and their families for over 10 years. He has served in Fort Leavenworth, KS, where he was Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery, Podiatry, General Surgery, and Physical Therapy. Dr. Fry also served at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, where he was Chief of Hand Surgery and trained Orthopaedic Residents. Dr. Fry was honored to receive the Health Professions Scholarship for the US Army while in medical school, as well as received several commendations during his service.
When Dr. Fry is not performing a surgery, he enjoys photography, woodworking, and kayaking. In addition, he and his wife, who he met in college, have been married for over 40 years and have two adult children. As a family, they enjoy Colorado’s active outdoor lifestyle including: hiking, camping, rafting, biking and skiing. They also love golfing, traveling, and participating in charitable activities together; they support two orphanages in Africa.
