Biography

Dr. Joseph Hsin started Cornerstone Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in 1996, and has been a part of the Denver Metro community since 1976. He is a member of the American Medical Association, Colorado Medical Society, and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Fellow.

Dr. Hsin is actively involved in numerous community activities to include serving as a team physician for several local high schools, Colorado Christian University, and the Denver Barbarians Rugby Club. He speaks at local community events about orthopaedics and writes about sports medicine for local papers. In addition, Dr. Hsin is a Clinical Instructor at Denver Health and Hospitals, and precepts medical students and internships.

Prior to starting Cornerstone Orthopaedics, Dr. Hsin earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder. After receiving his undergraduate degree, he attended medical school at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver, and completed his orthopaedic surgery internship and two residency trainings at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center in Downey, CA.

With a Master of Arts Degree in Theology with an emphasis in Missions from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA, Dr. Hsin has also traveled to Southeast Asia on numerous occasions with the Cornerstone Foundation and Cambodia Medical Missions in a continuing effort to improve medical care in Cambodia. He has also served as a camp doctor at Young Life youth camps. When he is not performing a surgery or volunteering in the community, Dr. Hsin, his wife, and four children enjoy skiing, boating, golfing, and spending time together in the outdoors.
