Bio

Dr. Fry was honored to receive the Health Professions Scholarship for the US Army while in medical school. He was privileged to serve our troops and their families for over 10 years including Fort Leavenworth, Kansas (where he was Chief of Orthopedic Surgery, Podiatry, General Surgery and Physical Therapy), and at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu (where he was Chief of Hand Surgery including the training of Orthopaedic Residents). He received several commendations during his service.

Dr. Fry has practiced Hand and Upper Extremity Orthopedic Surgery in the Denver and Boulder Metro areas since 1988. He has been active in teaching and community education in his chosen field. He is proud to join Cornerstone Orthopedics because of their philosophy of compassionate care that is individualized to each patient’s needs, including surgery and rehabilitation when needed.

Dr. Fry and his wonderful wife Kim (whom he met in college) have been married for over 40 years and they have two adult children. They enjoy Colorado’s active outdoor lifestyle including hiking, camping, rafting, biking and skiing. In addition, they have traveled extensively. They support two orphanages in Africa. Dr. Fry also enjoys photography and woodworking.
