Kortny is a Colorado native, born and raised in Arvada. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Integrative Physiology at the University of Colorado at Boulder, and then ventured off to Flagstaff, AZ to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree at Northern Arizona University, where she was honored with the Clinical Scholar Award in 2012. She is certified in Dry Needling – Level II, Selective Functional Movement Assessment – Level II, is a certified Pilates Instructor, and has extensive training in vestibular rehabilitation.
Kortny joined the Cornerstone Orthopaedics team in March 2019. She loves treating patients of all ages, and thoroughly enjoys working one-on-one with each patient to problem solve their condition and reach their goals. In her spare time, Kortny enjoys traveling, being in the outdoors, exercising, and spending time with her friends, family, boyfriend, and her dog, River.
